(GASP!) Can you believe the nerve!? Leggings are pants. The best kind of pants. When I get in from work I immediately strip down and put on some leggings. Before going back to corporate america, I was living in leggings all day long. Sporty ones for my workout, then soft and cozy ones right after I showered.
I lived in leggings. And you should too, here are two very scientific reasons why:
Comfort
Um… You have never heard anyone say “Ugh, these leggings are so restrictive.” Nope. Leggings are a gentle hug for your booty and your legs! Soft cotton for lounging or active compression for workouts. Thick material or light… Whatever you’re comfortable with, there’s a legging for you!
Ease
No ironing. No dry cleaning. No stiffness. No stress. They can be dressed up or down depending on your top and footwear, making them perfect for any occasions. You can’t go wrong with a legging! And they’ll never forsake you, like jeans will. You don’t have to perform acrobatic feats to pull on your leggings.
Bonus reason: They’re just cute!
I picked up three pairs of the cutest, softest leggings ever at Bealls Florida last week. (PS: they were literally $3 each on sale!) I hadn’t heard of Bealls before moving to Florida a couple years ago, but it is an awesome place to get cute clothes at great prices. They have many of their own brands like Juniper+Lime, and Reel Legends and well-known brands like Nautica.
And, like one of my other stores I frequent, I feel like they just want you to save money! There is always (read: ALWAYS) a discount code, a sale for no good reason, and lots of items to choose from for everyone in the family.
I got lucky and went shopping on a day that there was a sale on clearance items and I racked up! In addition to my cute leggings (below) I got an adorable off-the-shoulder top, a few slim fit pants, and some workout clothes with a bohemian vibe.
If you’re a Floridian, or just visiting, check out Bealls for some cute items at great prices. (They have home goods too, and the holidays are coming….ijs.)
You can find them on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook too.
