Oh my gosh you guys, my biggest news right now is something I crossed off of my 30 before 30 list. See if you can go guess which one I’m talking about.
Did you go look? Did you see which one I’m talkin about?
OK fine, be lazy, I’ll just tell you.
John agreed to TTC a bit sooner!!! (insert giddy squeal here)
We’re going to start trying in SEPTEMBER!!!
AAAGGHHHH That’s way better than December!
My friend Reicha said “omg it’s only a pregnancy away!” So I’m considering myself “Pre-Pregnant” HAHA
You know I’m TOO excited right now!

I made a big decision regarding grad school just this past week.
I’m going to go online versus on campus. The main reason for this is: baby. I don’t want to have to take a semester off when she (or he) comes, and I don’t think I’ll want to leave her (or him) any more than I have to.
The second reason is: who knows where John will be accepted to med school. No matter where it is I’m going to have to go with him, so I’d rather be able to continue school instead of having to transfer.
I was really worried about the online schools not being accredited or having the certifications they need for my major, but those doubts were so 1999. The online schools I’m looking at have the two certs needed for a counseling program….and even NYU doesn’t have them. So I’d say I”m golden!!

So, the day I got hired at this new job, John got let go from his. (funny how that happens huh)
He found a new gig and started this week! Now, he’s in school during the day and working at night, including weekends while I’m working all day and home all night. This is going to be a rough adjustment. We will only get bits and pieces of time together for a long while.
It is the best option work-wise for him to fit around his school schedule which is ultimately the most important thing right now. Even though I know this….I miss the bleep outta him already 🙁 It stinks!!
I don’t know how those military wives do it. I’m here missing John after just not seeing him for a day or two.
Those women miss their husbands for months at a time with the added bonus of fear for their husband’s lives and safety. That’s hardcore. It takes a special kinda tough woman for that ish. More power to all you strong military wives. Here’s hoping the mister gets back to you safe and very soon!!
Happy Monday All!! Hope you had a great weekend and a great week ahead!!

That is awesome news! Lol just the thot alone is exciting!!! 🙂
As far as online school.. I say that is an AWESOME option!!! I did my grad program online. Part of my decision to do so was based on the fact that I didnt want to be @ work for 8 hrs a day and then have to go sit in someone's classroom for another 3 hrs each evening! No thanks! I wanted to be able to work @ my own pace and it worked out great! Graduated with a 4.0! 🙂 Online classes gives u the flexibility that I think someone like you needs!!
Oh and the work schedule.. Jeez. Seems like we have alot in commong! LOL I work from 9:30 am 6:30 pm and Earl has school in the mornings and works from 1:30 pm to 10, 10:30 or 11 pm (depending on when the last agent leaves, since he's supervisor). It can be rought, but like you said… you have to do what works best for you guys! You will make it wotk, Im sure of it! 🙂 And prayerfully u guys get similar schedules in the near future!

Congrats about the earlier TTC. We are planning to start our family next year too. Hubby wants to start it earlier but I've gotten him to chill out a bit about that. The thought just scares the crap out of me but I think I'm a little more mentally ready now. Anyway, also congrats on grad school and good luck to Jon with his med school adventures. It's a long road but very worth it and it will pass pretty fast too. 🙂

You guys are the awesomest most supportive women a gal could ever know.
Nikole – you cracked me up w/ that story. I'm telling Pauly you're ready for a mini-you.
Mrs Green – we really do have a lot in common! I'm going to email you about online grad program. And omg I didn't know you and earl were on different timeframes. I know we'll deal and make it through because it's for the best right now.
Mrs K – don't be a chicken!! lol I hope we're preggo at the same time so we can share horror stories….i mean…blessings…with each other 😉
