Insomnia. Nightly.
Unexplained projectile vomiting. Daily.
Random rashes, vertigo and shaking limbs. Weekly.
Panic & anxiety attacks. Monthly.
Yeah, I know what you’re thinking. That all sounds awesome, right!? Totes!
Real talk, I write to you friends on OKDani about health and wellness. I share about self care and mindfulness in general. But, I don’t often share my personal stories here, because I don’t want anyone to pity me. Or worry. Or…anything. To be really real, the above issues are what I’m currently dealing with and a big part of why I signed up for HealthPlan USA last month.
Hold up for some legalese: “I am in partnership with HealthPlan USA and they have provided me with compensation for this campaign. All thoughts and opinions expressed are my own.” (You already know!)
Now, my mom is from Jamaica, so you know I’ve ingested about 48,000 gallons of tea from every bush known to man, to help with my health stuff and I wish I could slather Vicks on all my internal organs to fix me right up. Sadly, I need real prescriptions.
Signing up for HealthPlan USA was a totally selfish, and budget-conscious choice…(they discount practically every need I have) but after learning more, I realized signing up will benefit everyone in my family. (And not on that ‘when mom’s healthy, everyone is healthy’ tip.)
This one constantly needs new glasses, and catches every cold/virus/bug known to man. I also think he’s actively working on breaking bones:
So the Telehealth service is a godsend (and a gas-saver) for me. #anxiousmommy
This one needs a dentist visit and is on the same bone-breaking master plan as her brother:
All four of us need prescriptions, John and I need glasses…and while we have our health insurance through his company, they don’t offer flex spending… Plus I had to visit a specialist since John and I were thinking about baby #3…
My budget was looking at me like:
So I signed up. Take a look and see if HealthPlan USA would be a good option for you and your family. (Whether or not you have insurance already!)
When bloodwork comes back totally fine. When meds are changed and none really work well. When you’re shuttled from doctor to doctor and those copays start mean muggin you…
When you feel at your wits end with health related things, it’s nice to have something sure, strong and solid to lean on. (besides your faith!)
In my case it’s HealthPlan USA. It’s bae. Maybe it’ll be bae for you too. (I won’t get jealous.)
