This vision board manifestation was originally posted in 2015 but sharing again as a reminder of he power of vision boards for manifesting your desires.
Vision Board for the win!
Listen.
I just gasped so hard that I choked.
Have you ever done that?
I think it’s partially because I have this horrible cold that Rohan gave me.
I’ll blame the cold… lol, restricted airways and all that…. *look*
But seriously….
Part of manifesting is clearing physical space for your manifestation. So…
I was going through papers tossing stuff, filing stuff and trying to organize when I found this pic:
(pardon the blur)
This is the house I had on my vision board all of 2013. At that time I thought I’d be moving to FL for 2014. That was before John’s accident and before my scary, stressful pregnancy with Kaya)
For whatever reason, I put the photo away, and didn’t have it displayed for 2014. I had made a new vision board all together, and was using a vision book at one point.
I totally forgot about that photo, I didn’t even realize that I’d kept a printout of this vision board….
But lookit….
This is the house I’m buying:
Gagging!!
Now, I know it’s not the same house, but they’re so similar to me it’s definitely gasp-worthy. And once I landscape and fix up our janky yard, our little yellow house will look even more like the yellow house that was on my vision board!
I was reminded of John Assaraf’s story from The Secret of his son pulling out his old vision board that he’d made five year’s earlier and noticing that everything on it had come to fruition.
So needless to say, I’m working on a new vision board.
This weekend I’m going to get my aunt’s huge stack of magazines, and create my beautiful vision for the next year.
I’ll also make a digital version.
On my computer my current background is a list of my annual goals but I’m going to update to have the list smaller, and my vision board next to it. I’m pretty visual so I like seeing the photos everywhere.
HOW TO MAKE YOUR VISION BOARD MANIFESTATION
I always urge my clients to look at the vision board at least once a day, and to not just look at the pretty pictures thinking “oh wouldn’t that be nice” (but that is honestly a great place to start).
My suggestion is to have even a little 5 minute visualization session where you look at the photos, and think about each item what they represent in first person. More importantly get yourself into the feeling state of already having it. So you really feel yourself driving that fancy new car, or having the healthy body you crave or what have you.
It would be great to do this twice a day, hell, even once a day. But it’s not always the reality. Everyone’s busy, and things like this tend to get pushed aside for whatever the current “fire” in your daily life is.
So I suggest at minimum to look at the board once a day. Just to keep those desires and goals simmering in your subconscious and conscious mind.
My board is going to have images representing a thriving business, being at home with my children, having a fit body, a loving connected marriage, and a happy beautiful home…

That is absolutely gasp worthy!! Congrats on your house!! I hadn’t heard of a vision board before, but I think I’m still on time to create one, and your post motivated me to do just that! Thanks 🙂

Congrats on the home purchase. It’s so amazing when the things you want to accomplish and put in the back burner happen to surprise later on.
I had a similar situation happen to me. A few years ago, I made a 30 before 30 list, put aside and never looked back at it. As I was cleaning one day, I came across the list and was pleasantly surprised to learn I already accomplished half the things on the list!

Oh my! That home is gorgeous! I promise you it is something to have a vision and it manifests. Congratulations on purchasing a new home, girl. I have been pulling images from magazines for the last few days but haven’t started my actual board yet. This makes me want to speed up the process.
I’ll be taking your advice and will spend more time actually looking at the board (having a visualization session with it). I’m sure it will help me to focus on the bigger picture and get serious about my goals. Thanks, Dani!
